You will notice that the text of this post is preceded with a new icon for the blog. This drop of water will be displayed on days that I water Willard, including today. Remember I use the toothpick test every day to determine if I need to water any of my bonsai trees, I don’t have a set schedule for watering. Some of you may be following along with your own bonsai trees, if so use it as a reminder to check the soil moisture of your bonsai. The factors that determine the water needs for my trees such as size, soil type, and humidity are probably much different than yours, so it is best not to use it as an indication of when you should water your trees. Hopefully it will give a quick glance into the care that goes into maintaining the Willard.
